Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Granite Leads collects when you use this website or get in touch, why it's collected, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Granite Leads is a trading name of George Thomas, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. For anything about your personal data, email hello@graniteleads.co.uk.
We are the "controller" of your personal data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
When you fill in the call-back form:
- Your name
- Your mobile number
- What you install and where (as you type it)
- Which page you came from and, if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad, the ad click reference that Meta adds to the link
When you message us on WhatsApp, email or call: your name, number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you browse the site: if you accept cookies, the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and how you arrived (see "Cookies" below). We don't collect this if you decline.
Please don't send us sensitive information (such as health details) — we don't need it.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call. This is necessary to take the steps you've asked for before any agreement, and is in our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To provide our services if you become a client. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To measure how our own adverts and website perform, using the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. We only do this with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner.
- To keep records we're legally required to keep, such as invoices.
We won't send you marketing you haven't asked for, and we never sell your information.
Cookies
The site uses two non-essential trackers, and both only load if you click "OK" on the cookie banner:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd), which helps us see whether people who visit from our adverts go on to get in touch.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd), which counts visits and shows which pages people use, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_*, which last up to 2 years.
If you click "No", neither loads and the site works exactly the same.
We store your choice in your browser so we don't ask every time. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again.
Our enquiry system (see below) also runs a small script so that form submissions reach us. This is needed for the form to work.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with services that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector) — our customer and enquiry management system, which stores form submissions and sends messages.
- Meta — for the Meta Pixel if you accept cookies, and WhatsApp if you message us there.
- Google — for Google Analytics, if you accept cookies.
- Netlify — which hosts this website.
- Our email provider — if you email us.
- Professional advisers or authorities, if the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or approved standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years from our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of our work together plus 6 years, for tax and legal reasons.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- object to us using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it
- ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw your consent to cookies at any time
To use any of these rights, email hello@graniteleads.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. There's no charge.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
